The Battle of Bunker Hill
On June 16, 1775 the British General decided to attack the American’s by land because he believed the colonists would retreat, or run away.
As this happened, Colonal William Prescott told his army of colonists “Don’t shoot until you see the whites of their eyes.”

As the battle went on, the colonists began to ran out of ammo and the British kept sending in reinforcements to discourage the colonists.
Ultimately, the British won the battle and took over Bunker Hill.
